 City
Day & Cultural Day
| City day
is Friday, July 11 from 1-5. City
day is where we invite all of the cities in the County to join us and represent
themselves in their own unique way at our event. We provide the space and they
provide the information. In some cases this will involve multiple departments
in others it may just be their Community Center or Historical society. Each is
different. This year we have Vadnais Heights, Shoreview, New Brighton, Maplewood
North St. Paul, St. Paul, White Bear and Moundsview. In
addition to their presence, we asked that they provide us with contact information
for local talent to feature on our main stage between 1-5. There are performances
by Ashland productions youth programs, The Maplewood Community Center programs,
Center for Hmong Arts and Talent, and other local musical artists out of St. Paul
and White Bear Lake. Cultural
Day is Saturday, July 12 from 1-5.
Cultural Day will be similar. The tent
which held the City booths will host local cultural center information booths.
In addition the main stage will include performances from various cultural backgrounds. Sponsored
