Nominations for the Ramsey County Outstanding Senior Citizen Award are being accepted for the 2012 county/state fair season. We are looking for both men and women retirees age 70 or older who live in Ramsey County and have been active in their communities since retirement, after reaching age 65. Help us recognize those "Outstanding Seniors" in our community who volunteer locally and contribute tirelessly, making a difference in the lives of others.

Of the nominees one male and one female will be selected to represent the County at the State Fair competition. They will also be recognized at a special award ceremony at the County Fair and State Fair.

Submissions must be in the fair office by July 6 to be considered.
